Armour is equipment formed by one or two separated modules, set up in a row, with 80 or more bobbins with cables in a rectangular format. Tools set up on the support wheel of the equipment guarantee twists that make the cables fit perfectly to the external diameter of the flexible tube. The quantity of cables applied in the tube increases the tensile strength of it. The quantity of cables depends on the application of the product and the process.

Tape Applicator is equipment used on umbilical cables and flexible pipes for the oil & gas segment. The configuration may have 2, 3, 4 and 6 heads for each tape application. This equipment has an application setting for overlapping tape on the product, a setting for tension application, as well as a device to identify broken tape during the process.

Equipment is used in line for umbilical cables and line for flexible pipes for the OIL & Gas segment. The equipment can work as unwinder or coiler of flexible products normally stored in bobbin with average diameter of 10mt and varying weights according to the product. The Rim Drive can work with or without lateral movement of product spreading, can be used in Extrusion line, Armour, Carcass and Flexlock.

The Tensioner is used on umbilical cables lines and flexible pipes lines for oil and gas. This equipment functions are hauling the product off the line, supporting heavy loads and maintaining a constant tension on the product during the process. The manufacturing configuration of the Tensioner can be assembled with 3 or 4 rubber tracks.

This equipment is used in pipe extrusion line, it is assembled after the extrusion crosshead for the formation of the pipe through vacuum and cooling (spray). For each diameter of the pipe it is required to change device calibration at the equipment extremities.

Equipment designed for the cooling of plastic tubes in the extrusion line. Centrifugal pump feeds the spray nozzles with pressurized water.

Carcass equipment is used to make the first stage of armoring in the flexible pipe, in this equipment steel tapes are molded in an “S” shape and applied to the tube continually overlapped, giving shape to the tube. Diameters can vary from 2 ½’’ to 30.’’

The loading tower can be used with a tensioner assembled on top of it. This equipment is used to load and unload products in offshore wind, oil, and gas operations. It is used with umbilical, and flexible pipes. It was designed for making a smooth and safe movement of the product between the transfer platform and a vessel or seabed constructor o a manufacturing plant. It is guided with rollers coated in PU or special steel.
